Yoga found me over two decades ago, thanks to a compassionate high school gym teacher who recognized I was struggling after several injuries as a student athlete. Back then, I had only ever moved my body competitively. Yoga shifted everything—it gave me space to move with intention rather than pressure. From that moment on, it became a daily practice that’s supported me physically and mentally as I’ve navigated the ever-changing landscape of my body and life.

For nearly ten years, I held myself back from teacher training, caught in limiting beliefs about what a yoga teacher “should” look or be like. In 2024, I finally said yes with a full heart and completed my 200-hour training at The Grinning Yogi. Just like my first practice in 2003, teaching has awakened something in me—a quiet knowing that had been waiting patiently for me to arrive.

My teaching style is often called “a slow burn.” I guide from a place of patience and intention, inviting students to do the same. I believe in taking our time—dropping out of the mind, into the body, and connecting deeply with the breath. The asana becomes an invitation to be fully present.through all life stages.
