Lara Ederer
I began practicing yoga in 2001 and completed my 200-hour YTT in 2011. I deepened my studies with my teacher, Tiffany Cruickshank, founder of Yoga Medicine, at the 1000-hour level, completing over 800 hours of applied anatomy training, orthopedic studies, and a 40-hour hands-on cadaver dissection lab. As a self-proclaimed anatomy nerd, I’ve taught over 12, 200-hour yoga teacher training anatomy courses, including students who are physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and personal trainers.
I am the proud co-founder of Viveka Yoga, a Yoga Alliance Registered School. Along with my co-teaching partner, we’ve graduated over 135 students in nine years and are respected as true educators in the greater Seattle area. Additionally, I’m certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and have worked with collegiate and professional athletes, integrating yoga and functional training into their programs. I also hold an advanced nutrition counseling certification from NASM.
I’m fortunate to host international yoga retreats annually, blending my passion for teaching yoga with travel, offering students a unique opportunity to deepen their practice in beautiful locations.
