I discovered yoga in my twenties during a very difficult time in my life. From my first class, I knew I had found something deeply different from any physical discipline I'd tried before. Yoga gave me space to check in with myself, to breathe mindfully, and to move in ways that supported both physical and emotional healing.
As a teacher, my intention is to help students find that same sense of freedom and connection. I aim to create a space where breath and movement become tools for exploring the self—where yoga is not about achieving a perfect shape, but about discovering how movement feels in your own body.
My classes are rooted in the principles of Awakening Yoga and the idea of walking the middle path. I believe shapes don’t fit all bodies, and that’s why I offer modifications and accessible movement patterns. While inclusive, my classes are also known for being strength-based and challenging, with a focus on breath, held postures, creative transitions, and mobility work.
Ultimately, I hope students leave class with a deeper awareness of themselves—no matter how small. That’s how I define success.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat at Reverie.
